Confession Time.

I'm going to admit something to you guys...
Ready?

I'm not a distance runner.
*huge sigh of relief*

This has taken me a long time to admit.
The summer before I started college, I ran about 2-3 miles a day. And goodness gracious, I hated it. But I kept doing it due to pressure & lack of knowledge on exercising.
My mom started distance running a few years ago, & she's amazing! She is in incredible shape, so of course I've always been kinda pressured by that. And on top of this, most of my friends are beautiful athletes who, yes, are all distance runners.
I've tried for many moons to enjoy the run. But today. I'm learning to take some of my own advice.

You're not going to love every form of exercise. Some people are really into lifting weights, others are into running. Some are into biking, and some have a passion for yoga and Pilates alike. And that's okay! You're not going to love or be amazing at everything!
I'm accepting that I get bored during a run that lasts over 2 miles. I'm a sprinter! I'm a spin biker! I'm a lifter, and by golly, I am certainly not a long distance runner.

Be honest with yourself. Love yourself. You can do it.

Have a happy, healthy week, everyone!
