Lemon Water: What It Is & Why You Should Drink It

I have yet to follow the trend of the "detox tea" drinks and such. I suppose I just need to do some more research. But, I have noticed a change by drinking something that's probably a bit cheaper:
Lemon water.

It's as easy as it sounds.

Before bed, when you wake up, before dinner, in between meals…
I take a tumbler of it to work and carry one around the house with me during the day!

I've also hard of people placing limes, cucumbers, and fruit into their water, but that's a little advanced for me.

Directions:
1. Get a glass of water (ice optional)
2. Squeeze the lemon (I usually use about a quarter or a half of a lemon)
3. Place squeezed lemon remains in trash or in glass with water
4. Drink & be merry

I've heard tons of body benefits from drinking lemon water, but let me share with you the ones I've felt almost immediately:
1. Cleared complexion
2. Better digestive system/process/however you want to word it
3. More energy

Lemon water also gives you a good amount of Vitamin C, which helps keep you clean and healthy!
So break out the fresh lemonade this summer!
